Las Vegas, Nevada. November 5, 2003 ? Citrus Controls today announced support for its AmirusMM software reflective memory system with the popular 802.11g wireless networking standard.
Using readily available COTS hardware, data rates up to 800kBytes/second have been achieved with three-millisecond latency. The design offers full data synchronization between machines and guaranteed memory consistency."Wireless networks are a challenging environment for our reflective memory product, with their higher noise rates, greater potential for node drop-out, and correlated packet loss " said Dr. Tony Cox, Citrus Controls' president.
